Formosa's Vipassana
Vipassana is the ancient Sanskrit word meaning 'Insight', or seeing things as they are. It is a technique of meditation which the Buddha used and taught as a means to free oneself from universal suffering. Through focusing the mind and attention on breathing, anyone can gain insight into the ways all phenomena are, and realise the universal idea that all things and beings are impermenant, unsatisfactory and non-self. In short, a means to true liberation.
